Basketball Game Preview: South Harrison Hawks vs. Bridgeport Indians

South Harrison is on a three-game streak of home losses, Bridgeport a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The South Harrison Hawks will host the Bridgeport Indians at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a Battle of the Birds when South Harrison faced off against Braxton County on Monday. South Harrison was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Braxton County.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Lincoln, falling 52-32.

South Harrison will have to contain Kloey Martinez as she made an impact in Bridgeport's last game. She went 5 for 10 to rack up 10 points and six blocks. Another player making a difference was Haylee Pryor, who posted seven points.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for South Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
