Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Jefferson Area Falcons. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-9.

Lillian Ensman paced Conneaut's offense, picking up three kills. Ensman got some help from Lynn Muha and her three assists.

Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Jefferson Area, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Conneaut and Jefferson Area will both be playing Geneva the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
