Tyner Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chattanooga Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Rams claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over the Pounders. The Rams' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tyner Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamarion Dowdell, who rushed for 105 yards and one score. Dowdell's longest rush was for an incredible 95 yards. LeCarrus Moten was another key player, gaining 47 total yards and two touchdowns.

Tyner Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points on average over those games. As for Chattanooga Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Tyner Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-20 win against Watertown on the 7th. As for Chattanooga Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Giles County on the 7th.
