Volleyball Recap: Summer Creek Comes Up Short

Summer Creek and Clear Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Summer Creek had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Lianna Kearns was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and four assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Summer Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 20-16. As for Clear Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-10 record this season.

Summer Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clear Springs, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Dawson on the 3rd.
