Basketball Game Preview: Pella Dutch vs. Norwalk Warriors

Pella and Norwalk are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Pella Dutch will host the Norwalk Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pella's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Last Tuesday, Pella earned a 74-64 win over Des Moines Christian.

Meanwhile, Norwalk ended up a good deal behind Ames on Tuesday and lost 57-39. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Little Cyclones are ranked 14th).

Pella has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Norwalk, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
