Baseball Game Preview: Albion Purple Eagles vs. Barker Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Albion will face off against Barker. The Purple Eagles will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Albion is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Albion's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Barker as they made off with a 10-0 win.

Nathan Gibson and Andrew Boyce did most of the damage at the plate: Gibson went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Boyce went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave Gibson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drew Pritchard, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.

Barker's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Albion, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
