Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mya Johnson and Grace Campbell Lead Blythewood to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lugoff-Elgin, Blythewood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the West Florence Knights 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-10, 25-15.

Blythewood was led to victory by Grace Campbell and Mya Johnson. Campbell had seven digs and two aces, while Johnson had ten digs. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Blythewood's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for West Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Blythewood will head out to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Florence, they will welcome Ridge View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
