Softball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge lost against Montrose on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders lost 14-4 to the Meteors. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Piechocki made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Montrose, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blue Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Lackawanna Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Montrose will take on rival Elk Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
