After losing to Cuba/Spoon River Valley the last time they met, Havana decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Havana's pitcher stepped up to hand Cuba/Spoon River Valley a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Ducks yet this season.

Addie Atwater was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Kaydi Miller was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Havana was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cuba/Spoon River Valley only posted a batting average of .118.

Beardstown's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Cuba/Spoon River Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
