Basketball Game Preview: Man Hillbillies vs. River View Raiders

The Man Hillbillies are taking a road trip to take on the River View Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Man turned things around against West Logan Christian Academy on Friday. They blew past the Warriors 88-36. The Hillbillies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 39 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask River View). They breezed past Van to the tune of 74-28 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Man's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for River View, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Everything came up roses for Man against River View when the teams last played back in December of 2025, as the team secured an 87-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hillbillies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
