Softball Recap: Susquehannock Warriors vs. Eastern York Golden Knights
Susquehannock proved they can win big last Monday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Eastern York Golden Knights 5-3. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Knights, too.

Ella Wetzel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Susquehannock's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Macie Minton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Minton snagged this season.
The win got Susquehannock back to even at 3-3. As for Eastern York, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Looking ahead, Susquehannock will challenge York Suburban at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern York, they will welcome Elizabethtown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
