Softball Recap: Millard West Beats Lincoln East for Their Third Straight Win

While Millard West's victory against Lincoln East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Spartans 2-1. The Wildcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Millard West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callen Ahrens, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Millard West hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters every time they've taken the field this season.

Millard West's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lincoln East, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Millard West will face off against rival Lincoln Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln East is set to challenge their familiar foe Lincoln Southeast at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
