Linfield Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Classical Academy Caimans, falling 3-0. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Linfield Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Aubrey Yanover paced Linfield Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Yanover got some help from Noelle Hong and her 18 assists. Hong was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Linfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Classical Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Linfield Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Classical Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
