Basketball Game Preview: Odyssey Charter School Titans vs. Edgewood Red Wolves

Odyssey Charter School hasn't had much luck against Edgewood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Odyssey Charter School Titans will face off against the Edgewood Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Odyssey Charter School is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Friday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of IMG Academy Silver.

The losing side was boosted by Jevenson Antoine, who posted 20 points. That was a full 46.5% of Odyssey Charter School's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Andrews, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, Edgewood played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 66-42 to Calvary Chapel Academy.

Odyssey Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Edgewood, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Odyssey Charter School came up short against Edgewood when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 46-42. Can Odyssey Charter School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
