Softball Recap: Granite City Comes Up Short

Granite City and Belleville West squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Granite City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Maroons, falling 15-0. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Granite City has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Belleville West, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

As of now, neither Granite City nor the Maroons have any future games scheduled.
