Baseball Recap: Pocatello Comes Up Short

Pocatello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to the Orem Tigers.

Pocatello saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was NATE ROGERS, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Pocatello's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Orem, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Coming up, Pocatello will challenge Wasatch at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Wasatch knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Pocatello likes a good challenge. As for Orem, they will welcome Alta at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
