Basketball Recap: Malakai Baker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hamilton + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Twelve Bridges, Woodland Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Hamilton Braves by a score of 62-51.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodland Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malakai Baker, who posted 20 points and four steals. The matchup was Baker's 35th in a row with at least 16 points. Cole Haines was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals.

Woodland Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only posted six.

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Case Porter, who earned 23 points along with seven boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Charlie Enneking, who had 18 points and four steals.

The win got Woodland Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
