Soccer Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Hialeah Educational Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the NSU University Sharks. While losing is never fun, the Biggie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Sharks are ranked 25th).

Hialeah Educational Academy's goal came courtesy of Jason Rivera, who's now up to four this season.

Hialeah Educational Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for NSU University, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1.

Hialeah Educational Academy will face off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for NSU University, they will challenge Lake Highland Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
