Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies Skates Past Lighthouse Christian with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Knowledge Academies). They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 60-2 win over the Lighthouse Christian Lions. The high-scoring effort was just what Knowledge Academies needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Knowledge Academies' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zerahiah Polk, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Those 18 points gave Polk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tamia Campbell, who posted 19 points.

Knowledge Academies' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1.

Knowledge Academies has already played their next matchup, a 52-10 victory against KIPP Global on the 5th. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will host Lancaster Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
