Soccer Recap: Voyager Academy Takes a Loss

Voyager Academy lost against NCSSM: Durham back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Unicorns, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Voyager Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while NCSSM: Durham are ranked 74th).

Voyager Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2. As for NCSSM: Durham, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Voyager Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Triangle Math & Science at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, NCSSM: Durham will take on rival Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
