Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peachtree Ridge). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-63 win over the Southwest Patriots on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since December 10, 2024.

Despite the loss, Southwest still got an impressive performance from Chase Dupree, who went 12-for-17 en route to 32 points and three steals. The matchup was Dupree's third in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Butts, who posted 13 points.

The win got Peachtree Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Southwest, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Peachtree Ridge will square off against Norcross at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. This will be the Lions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Southwest, they have already played their next contest, a 64-56 defeat against Harlem on the 28th.
