Basketball Recap: White Oak Comes Up Short

White Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arp Tigers. The Roughnecks were probably out for revenge after losing 58-39 to them when the teams met back in January of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Arp, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

White Oak will take on Gladewater at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arp, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Arp Tigers face off against the Sabine Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
