Football Recap: Ridgevue Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ridgevue and Twin Falls squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ridgevue had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Bruins 38-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warhawks were not able to get on the board.

Hunter Schmittel threw for 128 yards on 16 of 35 attempts. Cameron Johnson was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards. On the ground, Tyree Flowers rushed for 28 yards.

Jackson Sattelberg was his usual excellent self, rushing for 146 yards and one TD while picking up 9.1 yards per carry for Twin Falls. Those 146 rushing yards gave Sattelberg a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryce Nielsen, who picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Ridgevue is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4. As for Twin Falls, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Ridgevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Twin Falls, they have already played their next game, a 22-7 victory against Century on the 7th.
