Baseball Game Preview: Raymond/South Bend Ravens vs. North Beach Hyaks

Raymond/South Bend is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to take on the North Beach Hyaks at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses dating back to last season for Raymond/South Bend and five for North Beach dating back to last season.

Raymond/South Bend lost 17-5 to Northwest Christian on Friday.

Jonah Rumbles was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, North Beach came up short against Lake Quinault on Tuesday and fell 21-16.

Raymond/South Bend's record now sits at 0-3. As for North Beach, their record is now 0-2.

Raymond/South Bend took their win against North Beach when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-0. Does Raymond/South Bend have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Beach turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
