Johnson Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 21-14 win over the Boyd County Lions. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Lions are ranked 63rd).

Among those leading the charge was Logan Morrow, who rushed for 116 yards while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

Morrow was just one part of a punishing run game: Johnson Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Johnson Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Boyd County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
