Basketball Recap: Gulliver Prep Takes a Loss

Gulliver Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Divine Savior Academy Sharks and fell 56-17. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Champ Smith and Nico Leal, who each put up four points. Easton McCarthy-Levy held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Gulliver Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Divine Savior Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Gulliver Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-45 victory against Cushman on the 3rd. As for Divine Savior Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 72-57 loss against Columbus on the 2nd.
