While Clewiston's win against Glades Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Clewiston who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-19.

Clewiston's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Glades Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Clewiston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Glades Day on the 25th. As for Glades Central, they will face off against Pahokee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
