Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestview). They claimed a resounding 41-0 win over the Navarre Raiders. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 34-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders had no chance of recovering from.

Zy Tassin produced another solid effort rushing for 80 yards on only six carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Che'Shon Cobb was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one score on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crestview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 308 rushing yards. They are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Crestview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sean Johns and Jaxson Gathings.

The victory got Crestview back to even at 3-3. As for Navarre, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will host Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Navarre, they will square off against Gulf Breeze at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Dolphins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
