Volleyball Recap: Standish-Sterling Comes Up Short

Standish-Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Kings when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Standish-Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12-6. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they pushed their record up to 21-4-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Standish-Sterling didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ogemaw Heights on the 18th. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Alcona on the 18th.
