Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tri-Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Philo Electrics with a sharp 21-1 win. That looming 21-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Scotties yet this season.

Gavin Harrold was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Brady Kaufman was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kian Drummonds, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Tri-Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Philo only posted an OBP of .080.

Tri-Valley's record is now 4-0. As for Philo, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
