Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

The Appleton West Terrors didn't have quite enough to beat the Franklin Sabers on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Terrors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Appleton West will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Franklin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Muskego on the 13th.
