Basketball Game Preview: Abingdon Falcons vs. Pulaski County Cougars

The Abingdon Falcons will face off against the Pulaski County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Saturday, Abingdon didn't have quite enough to beat Ridgeview and fell 56-53. The Falcons have struggled against the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-36, which was the final score in Pulaski County's tilt against Salem on Monday.

Abingdon's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Pulaski County, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.

Abingdon beat Pulaski County 63-53 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Will Abingdon repeat their success, or does Pulaski County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
