Baseball Game Preview: Dallas Christian Chargers vs. Pantego Christian Panthers

The Dallas Christian Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Pantego Christian Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Dallas Christian came up short against Bishop Lynch and fell 8-5. The Chargers have struggled against the Friars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Dallas Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dakota Coleman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Coleman's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pantego Christian fell victim to Northside Falcons HomeSchool and their airtight pitching crew last Tuesday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dallas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pantego Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Dallas Christian took their win against Pantego Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2017 by a conclusive 12-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
