There's no place like home for Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Heights let Jose Garcia and Ryan Soto run wild. Garcia went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Soto got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most RBI Garcia has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Rincon, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Heights hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Houston Math Science & Tech struck out six times.

Heights has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Coming up, Heights will host Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 22nd straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Houston Math Science & Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
