Baseball Recap: Cedar Ridge Raiders vs. Lake Travis Cavaliers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cedar Ridge can now relate to. They fell 4-0 to the Lake Travis Cavaliers on Thursday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Sawyer Neugent was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, Cedar Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Mabry, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
