Volleyball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. Twinsburg Tigers

The Solon Comets will head out to square off against the Twinsburg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Solon has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 23.

Solon came up short against Stow-Munroe Falls on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Twinsburg earned a 3-1 victory over Hudson on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Explorers: they've now won three in a row.

Twinsburg walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 20-25, 25-10.

Solon's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Twinsburg, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Solon might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Twinsburg when the teams last played on September 9th. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
