Baseball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon lost against Cosumnes Oaks back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sheldon took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cosumnes Oaks. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sheldon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Matanane-Kennedy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cosumnes Oaks, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

While Sheldon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
