Volleyball Recap: Gateway Christian Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Gateway Christian managed to slip by Elida the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Gateway Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Elida work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 28-26, 25-21.

Gateway Christian's loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Elida, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gateway Christian will take on Melrose at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elida, after both having extra time off, they and Dora will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
