Basketball Recap: Saugatuck Takes a Loss

Saugatuck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Buchanan Bucks, falling 66-20. While losing is never fun, the Trailblazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Bucks are ranked 288th).

Saugatuck's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Buchanan, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Saugatuck has already played their next match (against Martin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Buchanan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-45 loss against Berrien Springs on the 31st.
