Basketball Game Preview: Chatfield Chargers vs. Legacy Lightning + How To Watch

The Chatfield Chargers will be taking part in a tournament against the Legacy Lightning at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Chatfield lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Erie, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Chargers were the clear victors by an 83-59 margin over the Tigers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Legacy came up short against Eaglecrest on Thursday and fell 66-56.

Chatfield will have to contain Jaedon Ward as he made an impact in Legacy's last game. He went 5-for-11 en route to 18 points. Ward has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcus Sias, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Chatfield's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Things could have been worse for Chatfield, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-48 loss to Legacy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024.
