Football Recap: Bourbon County's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Bourbon County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lloyd Memorial, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Colonels fell just short of the Juggernauts by a score of 22-20 on Friday. The Colonels haven't had much luck with the Juggernauts recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lloyd Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than BILLY LEWIS, who picked up 33 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bourbon County fell to 6-1. As for Lloyd Memorial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bourbon County is set to face off against their familiar foe Carroll County at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Lloyd Memorial will challenge rival Henry County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
