Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Comes Up Short

Hillsdale suffered their closest loss since December 28, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Jefferson Grizzlies by a score of 57-54. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Jefferson, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Hillsdale and Jefferson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Hillsdale will square off against Half Moon Bay at 7:45 p.m. on Friday down 527 places (672 vs. 145). Meanwhile, Jefferson (ranked 554th) will meet Carlmont (ranked 209th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
