It was a good run, but Briarcrest Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Nolensville Knights by a score of 2-1. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Ashari Jenkins paced Briarcrest Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Jenkins got some help from Sarah O'Connor and her 29 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Kinley Clark, who had seven digs and four assists.

Briarcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Nolensville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Briarcrest Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against St. Agnes Academy on the 23rd. As for Nolensville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Summit on the 23rd.
