Basketball Recap: King's Christian Skates Past Foundation Collegiate Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King's Christian). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 68-36 victory over the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead King's Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Atkins, who posted 22 points. Atkins' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Pickard, who had 16 points.

King's Christian pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

King's Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cherry Hill East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matches. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, they and The City School will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
