Basketball Game Preview: Bush Blazers vs. Northwest House

The Bush Blazers and the Northwest House will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.

On Friday, Bush came up short against Bear Creek and fell 56-45. The Blazers have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They snuck past Overlake with a 57-51 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the House.

Northwest pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Bush, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Bush might still be hurting after the 61-36 defeat they got from Northwest in their previous matchup back in February. Can Bush avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
