Basketball Recap: Berlin Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Berlin walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over the Law Lawmen on Wednesday. For the Redcoats, this counts as revenge for the 62-47 win the Lawmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2020.

Brooke Walker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times she's played. Katie Litwinko was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Berlin has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. Law's loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Berlin has already played their next match, a 48-38 defeat against Ellington on the 7th. Law does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
