One of the most notable came from Caleb Foytack, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Stamm, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Newport had to suffer through a 63-28 loss at the hands of Susquenita.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
