Baseball Game Preview: Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons vs. Petaluma Trojans

The Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons will face off against the Petaluma Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Petaluma is headed out to face a Peregrine Falcons team ready to give their home crowd a win. Archie Williams lost 10-4 to Bishop O'Dowd on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Archie Williams saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Evans, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Joey Altman was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Petaluma owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Analy with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The team relied heavily on Rowan Ball, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Deadman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Petaluma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Analy only posted an OBP of .143.
