Softball Recap: Beloit Memorial Comes Up Short

Beloit Memorial lost against Burlington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Purple Knights came up short against the Demons, falling 15-4. The Purple Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beloit Memorial saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rilynne Cleland, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Cleland's first of the season.

Beloit Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Burlington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

While Beloit Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
