Baseball Game Preview: North Kitsap Vikings vs. Olympic Trojans

For the second straight game, North Kitsap will face off against Olympic. North Kitsap will square off against Olympic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

North Kitsap took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Olympic by a score of 9-5.

Tate Stearns was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of North Kitsap's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Jonathan Bourque was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

North Kitsap now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Olympic, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.
